Converters vs Generators - A Symbolic Model of Creative Genius

Feature Effective Symbolic Converter Efficient Symbolic Process Generator Source Material Requires pre-structured symbolic input (existing ideas, admiration, narratives, technologies) Can process unstructured symbolic input (raw emotion, confusion, trauma, chaos) Symbolic Output High-impact, often spectacular; culturally or commercially successful Often subtle, deep, and integrative; less visible but more foundational Process Efficiency Effective : high emotional, social, or institutional cost for each unit of output Efficient : minimal relational or energetic waste, surplus coherence generated Internal Coherence Low or unstable; depends on external validation High and resilient; driven by intrinsic coherence and symbolic alignment Relational Pattern Transactional; draws coherence from others Reciprocal or generous; contributes to mutual coherence Entropy Profile Net consumer; creates localized or distributed entropy elsewhere in the system Net contributor; reduces systemic entropy t...

Towards a Post-Capitalist Theory of the Firm

Summary of the Post-Capitalist Theory of the Firm Core Concept: The Post-Capitalist firm reconceptualizes the company as an economic epistemic engine. The founder's role is to initiate a functional economic system that becomes self-perpetuating and self-organizing, similar to the formation of political parties in democratic societies. Foundational Rules: Founder Declaration: Upon company registration, the founder must publicly declare two numbers: Baseline Average Income : The minimum average income level for all employees before the founder can begin extracting rent. Founder's Rent Multiple : The maximum multiple of the average employee income that the founder will be entitled to as rent once the baseline average income is achieved. Compensation Transparency: All employee compensation must be fully transparent. Worker-Determined Pay: The workers colle...

The Inevitable Failure of LLMs - Predictions.

Summary: Current approaches to artificial intelligence (AI), particularly stochastic large language models (LLMs), are fundamentally limited. These limits are not merely technical but structural, philosophical, and economic. Based on the Procedural Coherence Framework, the following predictions are made: Prediction 1: Hallucinations Are Inherent Large Language Models cannot systematically eliminate hallucinations without continuous external correction. Reason : They lack true procedural grounding of meaning; they only optimize for statistical plausibility. Prediction 2: No Autonomous Self-Correction LLMs cannot continuously and autonomously self-correct through iterative self-monitoring. Reason : Stochastic models lack the internal procedural dynamics necessary for genuine epistemic feedback. Prediction 3: No Reliable Expression of Uncertainty LLMs cannot reliably recognize or communicate their own uncertainty without engineered intervention. Reason : Uncertainty requires inte...

Towards a Digital Epistemic Engine, an Alternative Proposal for the Development of Artificial Intelligence, so-called. Part I: Premises and Assumptions.

Proposition 1 All "things" or "structures" are best understood as processes.  Proposition 2 Nature is parsimonious. Intelligence is not the result of complex mathematical models implanted into a biological substrate, but the consequence of simple processes enabled by biological substrates. To create intelligence, we need to be able to produce these processes in a computational substrate and allow them to develop in an analogous fashion to obtain an analogous result. Proposition 3 Intelligence is not a thing or a process, but the quality of a process. Proposition 4 In biology, intelligence is the degree to which a self-contained process is capable of maintaining its own integrity dynamically within a given environment. Proposition 5 Process closure takes place gradually, and is always reversible in principle.  Proposition 6  A closed process is any process whose component processes cannot exist outside this process for as long as they can exist inside this process. P...
